Tommy is a sweet 8 month old Terrier mix that recently became a tripawd. He's perfect in every way! Tommy, is ready for his own forever home. Tommy story.. He was in a severe hit and run car accident in Mexicali Mexico and left for dead. However, a good samaritan reached out to us for help so we immediately rushed him to a vet then had him transported to San Diego right away. Tommy had multiple fractures of both pelvic bones witch are above the legs, his right leg also had several fractures. Tommy had surgery to repair his pelvic bones and stayed in therapy for a few months. He healed beautifully and was walkingwithouta problem in his pelvic areas and left leg. Unfortunately, his right leg had severe nerve damage which was not rejuvenating on its own.. He went back in for surgery to remove the leg so he can finally live a pain free life and boy what a difference it made. He is a happy bubbly guy that loves life, loves talking to you for attention with lots of kisses, loves his walks and even a splash in the puppy pool.. He's great with people but will talk to them for attention and belly rubs. He's even great with other dogs and kitty cats if they will have him.
