Meet lovable Jackson. I can't tell you enough about this precious 7 month old Labrador, Great Pyrenees Mix. Jackson was an owner surrender. Unfortunately, his mom had to go into a domestic violence shelter so when she reached out to me for help i just couldn't say no. Jackson is so playful, curious yet can be very calm and well mannered in the house. He loves his people, plays great with other dogs, toys and even learning how to be calm around cats. He is very treat motivated and oh so smart I love how he focuses on you and when you say sit and shake he does it on command. Jackson, is still a puppy so he's active and loves to hike. He would love an active family so if you love to jog, hike or camp look no further because Jackson would definitely be up for any adventure. He’s crate trained and housebroken. Sleeps without a peep in his crate and will let you know if he needs to go potty and then will go right back in his kennel. He needs a large yard to play fetch in and bird watching. Lol He doesn't bark mutch, actually his foster mama said, she's only heard him bark once. He's currently being leash trained and greeting people calmly because he love to meet and greet everyone. He's truly a love bug. Jackson, would definitely benefit from continuous leash and obedience training. We would love to see Jackson in a loving home and maybe even with another dog he can bond and play with. He is a great family dog and will be a loyal and loving fur family member. If you live in San Diego or surrounding areas have a home with a yard and a minimum of a 6-foot fence and would love to adopt Jackson then please complete our adoption application at tlck9rescue.org
