Lacy's story.. How can I say NO to a 3 month old sick baby running around aimlessly and seeking refuge from another street dog. How can I take the baby and leave the other behind?? I can't.. Friends, these poor innocent souls especially the baby would not have survived on the streets. So I said, YES I'LL HELP. I named the little black and white Terrier Mix Lacy and her white friend Harley. They were both rushed to the vet and immediately tested for distemper and parasites. Lacy has a bit of treatable mange, full of worms, dehydrated to the max and very thin. All other test results were negative. She underwent treatment immediately and then she received her first set of vaccines. Two weeks later and Lacy is doing great!! Today 4/10/23, Lacy is having her 2nd vet exam and 2nd set of vaccines. Lacy is a sweetheart and very grateful to have been rescued. She's playful, loves people and other dogs. She would be a wonderful companion to anyone that is active and has the time to put some leash and obedience training to make her an even more well rounded dog. We are currently looking for a foster home or if you are interested in fostering to adopt we have that program too. If you live in San Diego County, have a home with a secured fence and would love to foster or adopt Lacy please complete our foster application at tlck9rescue.org
