Friends, please meet Kodi, our newest and sweetest little rescue pup. Kodi’s journey has not been an easy one—he came to us after suffering heartbreaking neglect and abuse. When he was found, he was starving, injured, and struggling after being hit by a car. Despite everything he’s endured, this resilient boy is already showing us his gentle spirit and loving heart. He’s understandably cautious, sometimes flinching when he sees objects like a broom, but he is slowly learning that he is finally safe. Kodi is wonderful with both cats and dogs, and his playful side is beginning to shine through—he trots around the yard after meals, rolls happily in the grass, and enjoys exploring. Incredibly smart, he figured out the doggie door by his second day here, and he hasn’t had a single accident indoors. Every day, Kodi teaches us something about courage, healing, and the joy of second chances. We’re so grateful to welcome him into our lives and can’t wait to see him continue to blossom with a wonderfully loving family.
