✨ Meet Sweet Ellie ✨ Ellie is ready to find her forever home, and we just know her perfect family is out there. This precious 4-year-old Havanese/Poodle mix has the gentlest, calmest soul. Ellie is incredibly sweet, loves to “dance” when she’s happy, and greets other dogs with such respect and kindness. She gets along wonderfully with her furry friends and truly brings a sense of peace and joy wherever she goes. Ellie is fully vetted, dewormed, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. Because we noticed something wasn’t quite right with her eyes, we took her to see a veterinary ophthalmologist. We learned that she likely suffered from severe eye infections in the past. As a result, Ellie is blind in her left eye and has some peripheral vision loss in her right. The good news is she can still see well from her right eye, and there is no further treatment needed beyond keeping her eyes clean and using lubricating drops once a day. Honestly, watching Ellie, you would never know she has any vision loss. She moves around confidently and happily, soaking up love and giving it right back. This precious girl is absolutely ready to settle into a safe, loving home. It would be such a blessing for someone to open their heart and home to Ellie. After her journey from Mexico City to San Diego, she so deserves a life filled with comfort, security, and unconditional love.
